Priorclave Elite Laboratory Autoclaves are engineered specifically for research laboratories, delivering exceptional safety, efficiency, and long-term value.

All Priorclave autoclaves feature a cylindrical pressure vessel, the preferred geometry for pressure integrity, uniform heat distribution, and long service life. This design minimizes stress points, improves sterilization consistency, and supports Priorclave’s 15-year pressure vessel warranty.

Safety is engineered into every system. The Quickseal™ 2 door incorporates permission-based door release, thermal and pressure interlocks, and a redundant safety gate that safely vents residual pressure before opening. Additional safety features include certified pressure relief valves, thermal cut-outs, insulated panels, and non-tip shelving on front-loading models.

Priorclave is the only manufacturer to provide the same fully featured Tactrol® 2 control system across its entire product range—from benchtop to large pass-through autoclaves. This consistency enables one-button start operation, validated cycle control, and password- or key-protected access, eliminating retraining as laboratories scale.

Designed for efficient laboratory operation, Priorclave autoclaves have been independently shown to significantly reduce energy and water consumption in research settings. All external panels are treated with Biomaster® antimicrobial protection to help reduce cross-contamination risks.

Every Priorclave autoclave includes an industry-leading 36-month parts and labor warranty, unlimited technical support, and is available in Benchtop, Front-Loading, Top-Loading, and Pass-Through configurations, backed by a 15-year pressure vessel warranty.

All Priorclave autoclaves comply with current U.S., Canadian, UK, and EU safety regulations. They are manufactured under an ISO 9001:2008 quality management system in our UKAS-accredited facility.

Our autoclaves and control systems are ETL listed and EMC certified, and feature ASME-stamped pressure vessels. These pressure vessels are manufactured entirely in-house and tested to 1.5 times their maximum working pressure. They have full insurance approval for pressure vessel design and construction and are CE Marked under the Pressure Equipment Directive PD5500:2000 Cat 3 (Certificate No. SS42059010-2 Rev 1).

They also conform to the general requirements of BS 2646 and are CE Marked to BS EN 61010-2-41 for Low Voltage and Electromagnetic Compatibility.
