The Tuttnauer 3545E Autoclave provides fast, safe and dependable sterilization without any need for special plumbing or venting. The 3545E is a digital sterilizer with 34.4-liter capacity and temperature range from 105°C to 137°C. Features 3.25 L reservoir with low water level alarm, digital display of temperature and pressure, heat-insulated double-locking door, auto low water shutoff, four single push-button programs, etc.

Q. Can the 3545 be used for sterilizing media in a laboratory?
A. Yes! The 3545E is a manual autoclave made to be used for sterilizing media. Here is what is recommended by Tuttnauer, the manufacturer for a Liquid Cycle:
Distilled water, solutions, medicines and other liquid preparations in closed bottles or flasks.

Nominal parameters default settings:
Sterilization temperature: 121C or 250F
Slow exhaust: 15 to 20 minutes
Drying time: drying is not allowed

Operations sequence:
Heating by actuation of electrical heaters until the sterilization temperate is reached.
Sterilization temperature is maintained constant for the preset sterilization time.
Slow exhaust heating is stopped and steam is let out of the chamber at a slow rate until the temperature decreases to 85C or 185F
No drying is allowed.
