Features

  • Global Sterilization Monitoring:

  • Designed for steam sterilization cycles within specified tolerances, suitable for both United States and international use.
  • Versatile Sterilization Cycles:

  • Monitors critical parameters for various sterilization cycles, including Gravity Displacement and Dynamic Air Removal (Vacuum Assist) within the United States and steam sterilization processes internationally.
  • Moving Front Technology:

  • Type 5 Chemical Integrator with a unique moving front design, consisting of a special paper wick and a steam and temperature-sensitive chemical pellet in a paper/film/foil laminate.
  • Calibrated Integration Condition:

  • Integration condition calibrated with a 106 Geobacillus stearothermophilus spore population, ensuring reliable indication of successful sterilization.
  • Simple Instructions for Use:

  • Easy-to-follow instructions: open the package carefully, place the indicator in the most inaccessible area, conduct the sterilization cycle, and verify the dark bar reaches the ACCEPT zone after completion.
  • Visual Indication of Results:

  • Dark bar migration visible through an ACCEPT or REJECT zone, providing a clear visual indication of whether sterilization conditions were met.
  • Precautions and Storage Guidelines:

  • Precautions include avoiding exposure to EO, Dry Heat, or any process other than Steam. Single-use design; do not reuse. Store in a dry place, away from light, at temperatures between 10-30 °C, with 30-80% relative humidity.

  • Result Interpretation: In extended or wet steam cycles, discoloration may occur in some zones of the reading window, but if the dark bar reaches the ACCEPTED zone, the process is considered accepted. A damp appearance after sterilization indicates a wet cycle, requiring rejection.
